Beijing Suburb Information Network, which is sponsored by Beijing Rural Affair Committee and undertaken by Beijing Urban and Rural Economic Information Center, is a comprehensive Internet website of Beijing agriculture organs. The website was built up in May 2002, recomposed in Sept. 2003 and changed its name from "Beijing Rural Affair committee Network" to "Beijing Suburb Information Network". The website is for exhibiting figure of the Capital, standing for the government affair publicity, strengthening administrational supervision, founding public Internet service, providing commonweal information service, promoting suburbs' informationlization and modernization. It is also a branch website of "The Windows of the Capital", which is the central website of Beijing municipal governmental organs on Internet. We take the website tenets of propagandizing the capital, setting up bridges, providing information service, sharing resources, assisting management and supporting decision.
Under the leading of Beijing Informationlization Affair Office and Beijing Rural Affair Committee, Beijing Rural Affair Committee Information Center organized the website, Beijing Agriculture Bureau, Beijing Forestry Bureau, Beijing Township Enterprise Bureau, Beijing Agriculture and Forestry Science Institute, Beijing Agriculture Economy Research Center and Beijing suburb Districts and Counties contributed to the construction and maintenance of the website.
